Our studio has been creating small OM figurines since 2010. OMs are gentle reminders that we are all part of something greater, that no life is separate from another and we are all connected: We only need to look up at the stars to remember
Each OM is handmade and hand painted, no two OMs are ever alike. Most OMs are named after stars in the sky and come with profile stories.
OMs are peaceful little creatures with big dreams and even bigger hearts. They are collected and treasured by happy people around the globe
Owned and operated by potter Kim Barry, Clay Trout Pottery is located in a small sea coast town in Massachusetts and specializes in producing unique hand-thrown plant containers by traditional methods.
The pots can be made in one of four different clays: red terracotta, white or black or parchment. Patinas or finishes are applied and fired into the pots to enhance their surface. Kim's custom pots feature ornamental details: handles, buttons, shell motifs or even customized logature.
These containers are designed to work as excellent environments to grow plants. Made with generous rims and sensible proportions, they can be planted and replanted in for years providing a wonderful compliment to your gardens and homes.
Orchids require alot of moisture. One way to help your orchid get more moisture in a dry winter house is to put it on a pebble tray. This is a ceramic dish, glazed on the inside with either clay pellets or gravel in it. You can cluster several plants in a grouping or place one large plant on it. Clay Trout Pottery offers pebble trays in black, white and red clays. The dimensions are 12 inches inside
Handmade Flowers by Jai
These beautiful flowers are made from cornstarch mixed with Elmer's glue. Each petal, leaf and stem is made by hand and assembled to create unique flowers. They are set in hard wood or ceramic pots. Some small flowers are available as magnets. All of our flowers are handmade and will vary slightly. Measurements are approximate and will vary with each hand sculpted flower and coordinating base/pot.

Mathilde Duffy, a botanical illustrator and nature photographer, combines her love of orchids, succulents, wildflowers, animals, and seashells with a wry sense of humor to create unusual cards that more often get framed than mailed. Her artwork is represented in corporate and private collections nationally and internationally.
She has accepted many drawing commissions of unusual orchids, painted portraits of people and animals, illustrated medical reports for a pathologist, drawn seashells for many museums, books, and scientific journals, illustrated for archaeologists, developed an extensive line of nature note cards, and taught art classes and workshops for colored pencil drawing.
Mathilde has exhibited at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Bermuda Arts Centre, North Carolina Maritime Museum, Vermont Institute of Natural Science, North Museum of Science and Natural History, National Wildlife Federation, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Boston Athenaeum, many New England flower shows, and other museums and galleries nationwide.
Drawings of your prized orchids can be commissioned, and cards created with flowers of your choice. Stop by her table at the show to select colorful bookmarks, cards, or framed prints.
Grace Emporia offers unique wearables with orchid motifs... hand embroidered jackets, shawls, original scarves, and decorative one of a kind pillows. A selection of vintage orchid pins and unusual jewelry accents the textile collection. Designer Jurate Calise fabricates much of the collection, as well as integrates beautiful complementary items from talented artisans.
Judith Newcomb Stiles is a potter from Wellfleet who later in life resumed her work in silversmithing and jewelry fabrication. She is the owner of the Newcomb Hollow Shop & Gallery which received the 2015 gold award for "Best Gift Shop Reader's Choice" in Cape Cod Life Magazine. She works with the finest Georgia Kaolin and hand-mixed oxides to create vibrant ceramic glazes on functional forms. An extensive palette of matte earth tones, as well as glass-like primary colors, reflect her painterly approach to ceramics.
“This year I have been so inspired by the colors of orchids and flowers. I have two special items I am bringing, "Blossom Yarn Bowl" for knitters, and "Budding Bracelet".” When you are at the show, stop by to see her creations!
